GEA: The service is not offered with a minimum guaranteed speed. The speed is dependent on the length and quality of the copper pair supporting the PSTN service. The longer line the slower the speed. As the last element of the service is delivered on a copper pair it is rate adaptive like standard FTTC service. The service may re-train and the speed change, depending on the quality of the line, changing environmental conditions and possible interference from external noise sources.
At the quote stage we provide a predicted line speed in the downstream and upstream directions. When a service is installed, three days of the provision process is the stability period where the service finds its most stable line rate (speed). However, this speed can change and fluctuate depending on the quality of the line and interference from external noise sources. The 1yr contract term will not be waived. If there is an extended drop in the line speed below the stable line rate it can be reported as fault and investigated.
IPv4: A /30 block will be provided by default. A /30 contain 4 addresses of which 2 are usable (one for router, 1 spare).
IPv6: We can supply a /48 IPv6 address block on request.
