Cannot Connect?
First of all you need to determine if your modem/router has Sync (synchronisation with the broadband on the line). Look on the modem/router, you should see a DSL light or on a NETGEAR modem/router the ADSL Link light, if it is off or flashing go the the section entitled No Sync for further assistance.
If the light is on and steady you need to make sure the connection between your PC and router is OK. If you are using a wireless connection to your router plug in the Ethernet cable and re test the connection.
If you are using an Ethernet cable to connect to the router ensure the cable is seated correctly and the port light indicating the cable is present is highlighted.
