IDNet. Internet solutions for business and home office users

Modems and routers

To use your ADSL connection you will need a modem or a router with a built in modem. This device will make your connection to the Internet and as such will need to be configured correctly with the set up information supplied by IDNet. The way in which you configure your modem/router may differ depending on manufacturer and therefore it is recommended that you consult the manufacturers set up guide. For ADSL2+ services you will need an ADSL2+ compatible router. The Netgear range of hardware we supply has been tested and is fully compatible with our ADSL2+ services.

If you purchase a NETGEAR modem or router from IDNet it will already be configured for you so all you will need to do is plug and play. In some cases you may need to tweak your PC settings however if you find after setting up your modem/router you cannot connect please refer to our Support Guides or contact the Support Team for further assistance.
