*Fibre broadband speeds are affected by your proximity to your local BT cabinet, quality of your phone line and any internal wiring. The service is contended within the nationwide network by BT and so the best efforts minimum downstream throughput is 8Mbps for residential services or 12Mbps for business services (or if the Traffic Priority option is included).

** We provide all customers with a delegated /48 of native IPv6 address space. This gives you 65,536 subnets, each subnet consisting of 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 native IPv6 addresses.
 
There is a one-off activation fee of £80 (excluding VAT) which includes the installation of a VDSL modem by a BT engineer. In addition you will need an Ethernet Router to handle the PPPoE login - we recommend and stock the Wireless Netgear WNR1000 which we can pre-configure for you and costs £52 (excluding VAT and P&P) - a standard ADSL router will not be sufficient. The minimum contract is twelve months and if you choose to pay for a year in advance, we will give you a month's service free of charge. The VDSL modem and ethernet router need to be placed near the master socket so you must ensure you have a power point and a suitable space for these devices. FTTC will not run over any sort of telephone extension cable.
